30 Hour Famine
The students of the Elementary Campus have been participating in the World Vision 30-Hour Famine for many years. We believe that it is a great way to get students involved in reaching out to others around the world – especially other children. During the weeks before the famine students were educated about life for others around the world and how even $1 can help someone in need. Many students gave their own money and sponsored each other during the famine.
The elementary campus has earned over $40,000 for World
Vision for 3 years running.
Supporting the Crisis Pregnancy Centre
RCS has been supporting our local Crisis Pregnancy Centre for many years by
donating baby items and raising funds during our Annual
Christmas Celebration. The students and community of RCS made a difference in the world by looking outside of ourselves and give to those who are in need within the community of Richmond .
Grad Legacy
Each year our graduates desire to leave a legacy of care
and compassion. Various fundraising events are held with
a goal in mind. A recent project was building a well to provide clean
water in Haiti.
Short Term Mission Trips
The secondary campus has been sending a team of
students, parents and teachers to Guatemala for a short
term missions trip every second summer. Teams have
been helping with the expansion of the Mocohan Christian
School, running medical clinics and Vacation Bible
School. |
