The
Development work at Richmond Christian School consists
of three main areas:
1. Promoting Christian Education – We are passionate about
Christian Education and desire to help others to see its
importance in equipping our students for a life of
service. It is our goal to provide support, information
and resources for prospective families to make an
informed educational choice for your children’s
education.
“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord,
continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up
in him and established in the faith, just as you were
taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one
takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit,
according to hum tradition, according to the elemental
spirits of the universe and not according to Christ.”
(Col 2:6-8)
2. Building RCS Community – We
affirm the partnership of parents, grandparents,
supporters and churches. Throughout every school year,
we organize key events that help build ownership and
community spirit. We strive to communicate regularly to
members of our community through publications, emails
and the website.
3. Fund Raising – We believe that
fund raising is one of the key elements to the success
of any non-profit organizations. Biblical stewardship
and sound fundraising strategies will ensure the
financial health of our school and therefore enhancing
the educational choices of our students, which remains
the primary goal of our fund raising efforts. We also
fundraise to keep Christian Education affordable so
that more families can receive a quality
Christ-centered education.
4. Development Committee –
We are always looking for individuals with various
backgrounds to serve with us in the committee. We
meet periodically to brainstorm ideas and initiatives to
develop RCS. If you enjoy hands-on activities and
meeting with people, please consider joining our
committee! For more information, contact our
Superintendent, Mr. Roger Grose, at rgrose@richmondchristian.ca
